Vito Soares
Director
Born: Montes Claros, Brazil
Based: São Paulo, Brazil
Status: IMMIGRANT in Benelux, Scandinavia & Brazil
When Vito came of age out of a small Brazilian town in the countryside, he just knew he would have to go out to the world to be able to develop his talent in the film industry. This brought him closer to Marina Sena, an upcoming Brazilian singer who was his fellow countrywoman with similar ambitions. Directing her music videos made him develop an authentic and pop look, which later led him to direct music videos for other artists such as Lagum and Rosa Neon, until he won the award for best National music video at the MVF Awards with "Eu Vou" by the rapper duo Hot and Oreia feat Djonga. The light and fun look of his films are evidences of his great creative potential and originality.
